Ciao a tutti, è da un pò che sono iscritto ma non ho mai postato

Mi chiamo Stefano, sono di Cuneo e ormai ho eliminato tutti i pc Windowz con dei bellissimi Mac

Vi espongo subito un quesito:

Avrei intenzione di piazzare un 3° Mac Mini (ne ho già 2) o una Apple TV in sala per vedere in streaming filmati, dvd, ecc...

Questa sera ho provato ad installaere XBMC sul mio iMac e funziona egregiamente ma avrei una domanda: come si fa ad inserire le copertine dei dvd in modo da vederle nella playlist di XBMC?

Premetto che i dvd che ho in condivisione sono immagini .dmg

E poi come si fa a mettere in stop o a spegnere il Mac tramite il Remote usando XBMC?

Altra cosa un pelo offtopic, XBMC è possibile usarlo sulla Apple TV?

to add DVD art, select your newly-added source, and press c to get the context menu. Choose "Set Content" to tell XBMC where to grab art and video info from, and scan your video clip info to XBMC's database.

aggiungo che vengono scaricate automaticamente da più fonti. se non accade chiedi nel forum di questa applicazione (molto microsoft), ne sapranno sicuramente di più.

E poi come si fa a mettere in stop o a spegnere il Mac tramite il Remote usando XBMC?

The processor would be underpowered for most HD content, and it would probably perform very closely to the original XBox hardware (unless someone figured out how to utilize the onboard h.264 hardware). While it seems to be technically possible, this team has no plans to support OSXBMC on Apple TV. We are big fans of both Apple and their technology, so we are not willing to engage in anything that Apple could consider "hacking" or encouraging people to hack. Our official recommendation is you want something like Apple TV, either buy an Apple TV, or spend the extra $200 and get a Mac Mini and be able to do both!

Innanzitutto grazie per le risposte ma

Non c'è la voce "Set Content" nel menu del singolo file...

Poi la combinazione Menu+UP+Play per mettere in stop non funge...

Adesso quando avvio l'applicazione parte anche Front Row... che diamine

Alternative a XBMC?

MediaCentral è limitato, non apre direttamente i .dmg e non si può aggiungere url a cartelle condivise ecc... e poi non usa i codec presenti sul Mac tipo Perian...

iTheater invece è molto leggere ma stessi problemi...
