USB 2.0 su iMac g4

c'è un modo per montare una porta usb 2 sul g4 iMac (la lampada)? perché ho comprato l'ipod touch senza fare caso a che era necessario avere almeno una porta 2.0 e adesso non so come fare. non va nemmeno col cavo firewire.

non mi risulta ci sia modo per un imac. quello che mi pare strano è che l'accoppiata ipod/itunes non funzioni lo stesso. sei sicuro? (a parte l'avviso che è normale)

Il mio vecchio ipod 20 GB (non Touch) veniva visto benissimo da iTunes e dal mio vecchio imac G3 DVD slot, ma usando firewire. Usando il cavo USB (il computer non aveva porte usb 2.0) non ricordo, ma mi pare di sì. Usavo l'ipod anche come disco di backup.

Qui ad esempio trovi, per farla breve:

I have a PowerBook G4 with USB 1.1, 1Ghz, latest iTunes, and the 'touch will not sync with it. The computer won't even recognize it. You must use USB 2.0 or it won't work at all. That was my experience; perhaps it worked for others.

Possibly so, but I know that the Touch will work with at least some USB1 ports because mine is connected to one at the moment.

forse esiste un cavo che trasforma la USB 2.0 in FireWire.
