VLC media player 1.1.1

VideoLAN and the VLC development team are proud to present VLC 1.1.1, the first bugfix release of the VLC 1.1.x branch. After almost one month and more than 17 million downloads of the VLC 1.1.0, this release introduces numerous fixes and small improvements over VLC 1.1.0.

This update includes the following improvements:
VLC no longer crashes when playing files with multi-channel audio tracks
Various decoder and demuxer fixes
Updated translations
Multiple libVLC improvements and fixes
Improved over-all stability

BIG FAT WARNING
Upgrading on Mac OS X from 1.1.0-pre1 or 1.1.0-pre3 will always FAIL because of a bug in these packages. Please get the update by hand from our server.

Audio filters fixes to solve the "mono" bug

Version 1.1.4.1:

VideoLAN and the VLC development team are happy to present VLC 1.1.4.1, a fourth bugfix release of the VLC 1.1.x branch. This release does only target PowerPC-based Macs. It is the first release of this branch for this platform and includes all the features, improvements and bug-fixes you have been waiting for. This is a security update, so we recommend all users to update to this new version (CVE-2010-2937 / VideoLAN-SA-1004).
