Senza troppe illusioni, ti segnalo una procedura da seguire con ffmpegx che probabilmente è già citata anche nel forum. Ti serve un componente perché ffmpegx sia in grado di gestire i file .rm; l'ultima versione risale comunque al 2006...

If you downloaded the reallib from the ffmpegX website, it's probably still the PPC version which is not MacIntel compatible.

There is an Intel version available at the Mplayer official website. Look for the "Binary codec package" section and choose "Mac OS X x86".

1/ Once the download is completed, double-click the package in order to install it ; this will install the required codecs and enable RealMedia playback in Mplayer for OSX, but not for ffmpegX
2/ Under the Finder choose "Go to... > Go to folder..." , type /usr/local/lib and hit return ; this will open a hidden folder
3/ Copy the "codecs" folder (the "codecs" folder is a renamed version of "reallib") inside "/Library/Application Support/ffmpegX" and rename this copy "reallib" (don't forget to remove your previous version of reallib)
4/ Now ffmpegX should be able to deal with RealMedia files

A me funziona parzialmente su 10.6.4: ffmpegx riproduce file real video tramite mplayer, ma non riesce a convertire. In questo momento però ho solo un file con cui provare. Trovi l'intera discussione nei forum di videohelp.com, sezione Mac (non ti posto il link perché non sarebbe conforme alla linea editoriale del forum).

Su Tiger e PPC mi funzionava egregiamente FLV Crunch: http://flvcrunch.awardspace.us/ Non mi funziona su SL con lo stesso .rm, ma i commenti di utenti di VersionTracker sono favorevoli.

A me funziona bene sia su Tiger che su Snow Leopard, bisogna però convertire in MPEG4 [.AVI] (mencoder) o XviD [.AVI] (mencoder).

Ho scoperto che in realtà non era proprio frezzato... dopo un po' il file viene caricato ma quando effettuo la conversione ottegno questo errore...

Ora il dubbio è...
1) Quale versione di reallib usare per SL? io ne ho scaricato 2 versioni ma entrambe non vanno
2) lo salvo in HD>Library>Application Support oppure in nella medesima cartella dell'utente?

Sì, certo. E' possibile che abbia pescato io un .rm problematico di suo. Riprovo quando avrò occasione.
