VLC Media Player 1.0.2 is out!

After almost 2 months and 27 million downloads of VLC 1.0.1, the VLC team is proud to present the third version of the Goldeneye branch of VLC: 1.0.2!

Version 1.0.2:
Introduces many fixes, notably for SSA decoding, v4l2, MacOS interface, ogg/theora, x264 modules and security issues.
Introduces the port to 64bits for Mac OS platform.
Introduces 2 new languages (Kazakh and Croatian).
Because of the security issues, we strongly recommand everybody to update its version of VLC.

Ma ogni volta che ci sta una versione nuova ti dicono sempre che c'è un problema di sicurezza.
Mi sembra di stare con Windows, ma bisogna crederci?

Apposta? E quali vantaggi ne ricaverebbero se fosse così? Il player è gratuito...
Tieni presente che spesso questi sono avvisi genericamente rivolti a tutta la comunità degli utenti, compresi coloro che usano VLC su Windows. Non so se ci hai fatto caso ma accade lo stesso con altri diffusissimi programmi multipiattaforma come Firefox...

Detto in modo un po' ruspante, la sostanza è quella. Non conosco le loro principali fonti di guadagno, non ti so dire come mantengano sè stessi e le loro famiglie ma lavorano tutti per delle organizzazioni senza fine di lucro: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VideoLAN
