Mail [programma di notifica arrivo messaggi sulla barra in alto]

ciao,vorrei gentilmente sapere se esiste un programma di notifica in maniera tale che oltre al suono mi possa segnalare sulla barra in alto(dove ci sono ora,carica batteria,ecc..) l'arrivo di eventuale messaggi di posta elettronica?

Nella barra su in alto non mi pare. Puoi ricevere la notifica tramite messaggini di varie grandezze che puoi fare apparire in vari luoghi della scrivania. Non ti basta il numerino che appare sull'icona di mail nel dock? Puoi anche avere un francobollo sul desktop con in cui appaiono i numerini.

ok ok grazie. No era giusto una curiosità,perche lavorando in ambiente universitario spesso e volentieri sono senza audio e lavorando su piu programmi non mi capita spesso di passare sotto nella scrivania a vedere se ci sono novità (e non potendo sentire il suono di arrivo mail) maari pensavo ci fosse stato qualcosa che me lo poteva sengalare in maniera evidente. grazie lo stesso!

Se l'icona di Mail si mettesse a ballare sul Dock all'arrivo di ogni nuovo messaggio ti sarebbe di aiuto?

Ho trovato qualcosa che forse potrebbe fare al caso tuo, però non hai precisato il tuo sistema operativo, il tuo computer e se ti interessa per tutti gli account che hai in mail o ti accontenteresti solo di alcuni e se parli di account pop o imap.

C'è una applicazione che sarebbe per Panther (non è più sviluppata dal dicembre 2003 ed è in stato beta) e che ho provato brevemente su Leopard (non snow leopard), con risultati positivi. Chiaramente sarebbe da provare su un lungo periodo. Si chiama MailCountX.
C'è anche mailticker per gli account pop, ma non posso provarlo perché ho solo account imap. Comunque è ancora più vecchio del precedente...
MacBiff fa la stessa cosa per gli account imap, ma è pure vecchissimo (2004) e per Panther. Questo a me non funziona.
Tutti questi sono in linea di principio per PowerPC.

C''è inoltre gmail notifier, ma chiaramente si riferisce a quello che ti arriva sul tuo account gmail e non a tutto quello che arriva in mail. Stessa cosa per Ymail (Yahoo)

Io ho un macbook 13 unibody alluminio con su leopard os x.
Utilizzo mail con il mio account yahoo.
ok allora ora provo a dare un occhiata a quello che mi hai consigliato come primo e come ultimo sperando che vadano bene!!
