Grazie Peterpan, nella lista ho controllato, la versione 3.0 era compatibile, la mia era la 3.2 quindi superiore, ma comunque non andava nemmeno Iphoto che era aggiornato.

E' uscita una nuova versione di Photomatix Pro.
Comunque sembra che hai mancato due aggiornamenti precedenti che forse risolvevano il tuo problema

Version 3.2.3:

Bug fixed: Saving images failed when keyword tag was set in Preferences.
Implemented a workaround to an apparent bug in Mac OS 10.6 that caused memory leaks when Photomatix was run on Snow Leopard. The memory leaks made the Batch Processing crash after a few runs but could also made the application crash in non-batch mode when large files were used.
Bug fixed: The bit-depth of files created by fusing exposures with the Batch Processing did not always follow the bit-depth selected on the output file format drop-down menu.
Bug fixed: When exporting via the Lightroom plugin, selecting the "Moving objects/people" ghosting reduction option had not effect, i.e. the option was not taken into account.

Versione 3.2.2

Bug fixed: On Snow Leopard, processing JPEG images resulted in scrambled output.
Bug fixed: Image orientation exif tag was not transferred from the source to the resulting image saved as JPEG or TIFF.
Bug fixed: When batch processing 16-bit images with exposure fusion and with the output format set to 8-bit TIFF, the created TIFF file could not be opened.
Bug fixed: When batch processing with exposure fusion TIFF images having an alpha channel, batch reported insufficient memory error and did not proceed.

Bug fixed: When the length of the iptc data embedded in an image saved as JPEG was not a multiple of 2, Photoshop returned an error/warning message about corrupted Photoshop data when opening the JPEG file.

Ciao, è vero puo essere che con l' aggiornamento Photomatix avrebbe funzionato, ma, ripeto, la cosa che più mi preoccupava era Iphoto che era aggiornata all' ultima versione.
Non c'è qualcuno con la mia stessa macchina, intendo identico modello, che ha installato Snowleopard e puo verificare? Mi piacerebbe capire se era un problema del mio Mac (sicuramente non un problema hardware visto che ora funziona tutto) o un bug del sistema operativo nuovo.

Anch'io ho questo problema e aggiungo di avere anche photomatix versione 3.0 che probabilmente non avevo aggiornato perché non ho capito come farlo (nel senso che non ho trovato nel menu la voce aggiorna). Boh, adesso l'ho cestinato perché tanto non lo uso mai, poi vedo se iphoto funziona (non capitava sempre ma quando lo fa era sempre in edizione) e vedo di installarlo di nuovo...

Mi sa che non basta eliminare photomatix... e non ho più il backup di Leopard.
Devo capire cosa fare, ma mi sa che dovrò reinstallare SL

..non o cosa dire, sembra che siamo gli unici due ad avere questo problema. Io ho reinstallato il so vecchio e aspetterò qualche agg. di Snow Leopard prima di riprovare.

Risolto il problema.....ora Iphoto ha ripreso a funzionare correttamente con Snow Leopard:

Non ho capito il link che mi manda ad un vecchio aggiornamento di ilife per leopard... mi sembra. Io ho reinstallato SL da zero e ogni tanto il problema si ripresenta, ho deciso di non usare più iphoto (che usavo poco) e con Aperture non ho questi problemi ma evidentemente se hai risolto il problema vorrei capire come hai fatto.

Il link ti porta al sito Apple dove c'è un download..scarica e istalla, a me a risolto il problema. E' probabile anche che facendo l' agggiornamento di Snowleopard, risolva il problema, ora. iLife Support 9.0.3 lo ho installato prima di fare l' aggiornamento a SnowLeopard. Quando ho aperto questo topic, tempo fa, facendo l' aggiornamento non funzionava.

Come non detto, ho parlato troppo presto, il problema c'è ancora, non so se prima è stato un caso o meno, comunque ho fatto ora l' aggiornamento a Snow Leopard, ho riaperto Iphoto e mi si è ripresentao il problema, non so piu cosa fare..
