mini mac (monitor esterno)

carissimi ho un mini mac collegato a un modello Plasma 42"lg risoluzione 832x480 attraverso il cavo DVI.

problema formato

vedo tutto schiacciato come se dal mini mac esca solo in formato 4:3 e non 16:9 esiste un aggiornamento della scheda grafica che si adatti a questo formato?

Prova a seguire queste indicazioni:

Control overscan
If the Mac OS X menu bar is off the edge of the television screen, try adjusting the television's controls to center and size the desktop within the borders of the screen.

If the television's built-in adjustments do not suffice and you are using a DVI or HDMI connection, try the following steps. (An s-video or composite connection will disable overscan by default.)

1. Open System Preferences on the Mac.
2. Select the Displays pane.
3. Click the Options tab.
4. Deselect the Overscan checkbox.

This will reduce the size of the video output from the Mac mini so that there will be some empty space around the edges. Once this option has been set, try again with the TV's built-in controls to size and center the desktop within the borders of the television screen.

pref. sistema/monitor e scegli una risoluzione wide (estesa). edito titolo e sposto in sez. hardware e periferiche.

FATTO MA ORA MI RIMANE UN IMMAGINE + PICCOLA CON UN BORDO TUTTO INTORNO

GIA FATTO LA PIù VICINA ALLA MIA RISOLUZIONE 800X600 ESTESA MA UGUALE
