Parallels Tools Initializing

continua a comparire questa finestra ogni volta che avvio Win Xp con Parallels sull'iMac..

Parallels sfutta la partizione di BootCamp!

stranamente l'ultima volta mi era scomparso l'HD di win sulla scrivania di MacOsX.. avviando stamane il mac tutto è tornato alla normalità..

però non so se da ancora quella schermata..

niente da fare.. avrò sbagliato qualcosa nella configurazione..

rilevo ancora i seguenti problemi:
1. è richiesto sempre l'inserimento della password admin;
2. la solita finestra dei parallels tools;
3. scompare l'hard disk creato da bootcamp sulla scrivania del mac.

UP!

Riepilogo:

Parallels Desktop Build 3188 on iMac 17" Intel Core Duo (installato con condivisione della partizione di Bootcamp)

1. all'avvio Parallels richiede sempre la password di admin (sul macbook no!);
2. Compare ogni volta la solita finestra (vedi sopra);
3. avvio Parallels e l'HD di win sulla scrivania scompare, chiudo Parallels e ricompare.

se fai una corsa (già domani potrebbe non essere più visbile) su www.macfixit.com si parla di come risolvere alcuni problemi della build in oggetto. potresti provare....

Fix

In many cases, using the following process to apply the Parallels Desktop Build 3188 update will result in proper installation and ability to startup the virtual machine:

If you have already attempted installation of Parallels Desktop Build 3188 and it has failed, uninstall the program using the included uninstall tool and install an older, stable build.
Download the Parallels Desktop Build 3188 update but do not install it
Launch the stable version of Parallels
Start the Windows virtual machine
Once Windows has booted, uninstall the Parallels tools by going to the Start menu, then to the Control Panel, then "Add/Remove Programs." Select "Parallels Tools" and click remove.
Restart Windows (this should happen automatically)
Shutdown Windows and quit Parallels
Install the Parallels Desktop Build 3188 update
In Mac OS X, navigate to /Library/Parallels/Tools (Note that this is the top level library not the one under home directory."
Mount the VMtools.iso disk image by double clicking it
Burn the contents of this disk image to a CD (This can be accomplished using either Toast of Apple's Disk Utility. Formatting should be ISO 9660)
Leave the burned disc in the optical media drive.
Launch Parallels
Start the Windows virtual machine (note that since the Parallels Tools are not installed you need to click within the Parallels window to perform operations in Windows)
Navigate to "My Computer" in Windows
Launch the Parallels Tools setup disc you burned (generally drive D
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Restart the Windows virtual machine.

quindi parli di problemi della build in oggetto... ma perchè sul macbook va alla grande??? ma questa è l'ultima build o ne hanno rilasciate altre?

ehhh, a saperlo.

si è l'ultima, ma visto il ritmo vedrai che tra poco ne esce un'altra.

l'archivio è piccolino... sono webarchive che salvo e poi consulto con spotlight.... dipende dall'argomento, se mi intriga oppure no.

allora mi sa che aspetto la nuova per vedere se va bene invece si seguire tutti quei passaggi... anche perchè funzionare funziona e io volendo uso win lo stesso... però.... sai quelle imperfezioni...

un'ultima cosa:
potrebbe essere che la password la chiede perchè condivido la partizione di Bootcamp???
