Compilatore GCC

Su Linux, per compilare qualcosa (programma in C) utilizzavo il compilatore Gcc. Come si fa tramite terminale Mac?
L'eventuale comando?

nessuno, il terminale non compila.

devi installare i tools, tra cui spicca GCC 4.0: http://www.apple.com/it/macosx/developertools/

Sono andato a leggere la pagina. Si', parla di GCC 4.0, ma non spiega dove posso trovarlo o trovare i tools da installare. Almeno cosi' mi pare. Va' che torno a dare un'occhiata.

Un'informazione: il comando cls (usato per pulire lo screen) non viene letto dal terminale del Mac. Quale devo usare? Clr? Altro?

ad ogni modo, clear è il comando corretto. (e stiamo divagando dall'oggetto del topic)

digita man clear e leggi:

NAME: clear - clear the terminal screen

SYNOPSIS
clear

DESCRIPTION
clear clears your screen if this is possible. It looks in the environ-
ment for the terminal type and then in the terminfo database to figure
out how to clear the screen.
