Seashore ha una funzione Clone. Anche se su sourceforge si dice architettura PPC, nelle release notes si legge che dalla versione 0.1.9 è anche Universal (per Intel).

The clone tool allows you to duplicate any part of the canvas in another place. To do this
you first need to set a source. You can do this by shift-clicking on the part of the canvas
you wish to duplicate. A cross should then temporarily appear. If you then click-and-drag
the mouse around another part of the canvas the source will be duplicated there. Note the
duplication process is reset as soon as the mouse is released
