ciao a tutti, ho un lettore dvd/divx della samsung. ho provato a masterizzare alcuni .avi con Toast Titanium (masterizzazione divx). provandolo col lettore esterno, però, il divx non viene letto. qualcuno sa darmi consigli? in questo momento sto provando a masterizzare con Burn.

nemmeno con burn riesco a risolvere il problema. altri dvd con dentro file .avi precedentemente massterizzati con pc vanno invece benissimo.

I file .avi sono sicuramente dei DiVX? Il mac legge quei DVD dopo averli masterizzati?

sì, il mac legge il file masterizzato.

verifica cosa c'è nel file AVI con MediaInfo Mac.

il tuo lettore non legge divx versione 5. aggiornalo.

il lettore è esterno, un comune lettore da tv. posso masterizzare col mac utilizzando codec anteriori a divx5? se sì, come?

e si aggiorna. informati. certo che puoi creare divx versione 4.2 oppure xvid che già sai che che viene perfettamente supportato. handbrake o ffmpegX sono due applicazioni più che adatte.
