Non saprei come si ricostruisce una casella di posta su Mac e non so nemmeno come si fa an andare sul server della Apple, cioè nella mia casella. Mi dispiace ma se mi dici come io eseguo. Ecco il testo della risposta:
Dear Perini,
I am sorry to hear that you believe you are missing some email messages from your MobileMe email account.
If you don't see those messages in your Inbox, they may have been downloaded by one of your email programs and deleted from the servers. This can occur if you use more than one device (such as a computer, mobile phone, or personal digital assistant) to check your MobileMe email, and if one or more of them uses an email program that is configured using the Post Office Protocol (POP3). POP3 is the default protocol used by many email programs. A POP3 program first downloads the new messages into the computer's or device's email and then removes the messages from the Inbox on the server. (The program usually does not delete email in other online folders, such as Sent Messages and Deleted Items.)
Sometimes messages can even seem to disappear from your email's Inbox as you are looking at them. This can happen if the email program had previously cached copies of the messages for offline use. When the Inbox of the email program syncs with the server, the messages can be removed from the email program if they have been deleted from the server by another email program.
I suggest that you look in the Inbox and related folders of all email programs and devices that have ever been set up to check your MobileMe email account. If you find the missing messages, you can resend them to your MobileMe email address. That way, they are back in the Inbox of your MobileMe Mail.
There are a few things you can do to prevent having messages deleted from the server:
- Configure all of your computers and other devices that check email to use the Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP). IMAP by default leaves copies of all messages on the server as it downloads them to your email program. In Mac OS X Mail, the "MobileMe" account type is automatically configured as IMAP.
- If you would like to keep using POP3, always use only one email program or device to access your MobileMe email.
- If you would like to keep using POP3, and if you want to use more than one email program or device to access your MobileMe email, be sure to edit each of the program's account settings to enable the option to leave a copy of all messages on the server. For more information about configuring Mail for Mac OS X to leave messages on the server, please see the following article:

If you follow the above steps and you still see messages disappear unexpectedly, you might consider resetting your MobileMe password. To do this, visit
http://www.me.com/account and log in, then click Password Settings.
If you believe someone else may have accessed your account and removed the messages that are now missing, you should change not only the password, but also the password question and answer. Be sure to choose a password, question, and answer that only you know. Here is some helpful advice:

If you use Mac OS X Mail, keep the following in mind:
When you move messages to the "On My Mac" folder of the mailbox drawer, they are deleted from the server. If you want to copy them so that you have the messages both in your computer and on the server, hold down the option key while you move the messages to your "On My Mac" folder.
If you don't see the "On My Mac" folder, choose "New Mailbox" from the Mailbox menu and then choose "On My Mac" from the Location pop-up menu. Name the new folder whatever you want.
Everything stored in the "On My Mac" folder is saved in the Macintosh HD/Users/(user name)/Library/Mail folder. If you want to back up the email currently on your computer, simply back up that folder.
I hope this information has been helpful. If the issue persists after you follow the suggestions above, please reply and provide answers to the following questions:
- When did you last see the missing messages?
- How many messages are you missing?
- What mailbox(es) were the messages in?
- How many computers and devices do you use to check your MobileMe account?
- Are new messages sent to your MobileMe account being deleted?
I thank you for choosing MobileMe Support. If you have further questions or concerns regarding this issue, please feel free to reply to this email. If you want to submit a request for new issue, please use the following link.
