Apro un topic nuovo per annunciare che vi è una nuova versione di ImageWell, la 3.5 (build 327), che però diventa A PAGAMENTO e che il periodo di prova gratuito dura 7 giorni, dopo di che... non so cosa succede. Mi tengo quindi stretta per il momento la mia versione 3.4.3 (build 315).

Tenete presente che in alternativa esiste anche Skitch, beta freeware per il momento.

E' la seconda volta che ImageWell annuncia di passare ad una versione a pagamento.
La volta precedente avevamo tutti mantenuto l'ultima versione free, poi alla fine dopo poco tempo hanno fatto marcia indietro e solo gli Xtras sono stati messi a pagamento, mentre l'applicazione è rimasta freeware. Sarà lo stesso questa volta?

Per il momento grazie mille Padmé per la segnalazione. Ricordo che è possibile mantenere installate entrambe le versioni di ImageWell (basta nominarle diversamente). Tipo "ImageWell Free" (che eviteremo di aggiornare) e "ImageWell" (che sarà la versione non free, dalla 3.5 in poi).

E vediamo che succede...

Che scomodità l'attivazione via Internet, soprattutto se bisogna reinstallare l'applicazione.
Forse è stato proprio Winzozz XP che inaugurò questa porcheria, poi venne applicata da molti altri, da Adobe per alcuni suoi prodotti nel mondo Mac.

ImageWell è l'applicazione dal costo più basso che contiene l'attivazione, se non sbaglio.
Peccato.

Ho parecchi dubbi che tornerà free. Spulciando i commenti degli utenti su MacUpdate, se ne trovano molti polemici (gratuitamente, a mio parere) sugli Xtras e sul fatto che ImageWell controlli la validità del numero di serie (che loro impropriamente chiamano phoning home); ce ne sono anche un paio dello sviluppatore. In sintesi, la mia impressione è che dev'essersi rotto e che abbia dato un taglio alle ricorrenti polemiche. Naturalmente spero di sbagliarmi...

Ciao... all'epoca avevo scaricato la versione di ImageWell a pagamento.. ma non avevo visto che fosse a pagamento! E ora il tempo e' scaduto... nessuno sa da dove posso recuperare la versione precedente?
