Il fatto che venga aggiornato ogni ora è segno di gran cura da parte dello sviluppatore che tende a offrire un prodotto sempre migliore, questo lo rende secondo me il programma migliore per i torrent da ogni punto di vista. La semplicità d'uso, la sua immediatezza, e devo dire anche velocità, testato varie volte con Zeitgeist per esempio, fa prima di utorrent, se poi vuze, al limite, è un capellino più veloce, non giustifica la sua preferenza..è tutto men che mac style, a partire dal suo funzionamento (da piccolo chimico) all'interfaccia, all'icona, volete mettere? Transmission ha una delle icone esteticamente migliori cool e funzionali.

Distributed hash table (DHT) support for public torrents
Holding down the option key on launch will pause all transfers
JSON RPC messages can be ~85% shorter, saving bandwidth and CPU
Automatically pause torrents when verifying
Fix small bugs and memory leaks
Web Client Changes
Big speed improvements, especially with large torrents
Fix 1.61 bug that broke adding torrents via the web client
Add the ability to upload multiple torrents at once
Torrents added by URL were always paused, regardless of preferences
Comments and announce addresses were cut off in the inspector
The "data remaining" field wasn't updated when the number reached 0
Smaller design adjustments

P.S.:Credo che la frequenza di aggiornamento di Transmission sia seconda solo a Ripit, che nelle ultime due settimane ha assunto un carattere quasi parossistico.
