Alle preferenze di Safari? Mi era venuto il dubbio, per la verità...
Comunque ho ripetuto la prova con le preferenze di Safari e il risultato è identico:
il suono Submarine che mi indica che il comando viene rifiutato.

On a full-sized Apple keyboard, the help key was labelled simply as "Help", located to the left of the home key. Where IBM compatible PC keyboards had the backspace and insert keys, Apple keyboards had the delete and help keys instead. As of 2007, new Apple keyboards do not have a help key. In its place, a full-sized Apple Keyboard has a Fn key instead. Instead of a mechanical help key, the menu bar for most applications contain a Help menu as a matter of convention.

Sembra confermare quello che c'è su wikipedia. Non ho una tastiera con il tasto Aiuto per verificare.

Grazie infinite, Lester e Riker, per il tempo che mi avete dedicato: torno al computer e trovo un bel malloppone di roba.
A una prima rapida lettura si conferma quello che pensavo: quel tasto è ormai praticamente inutile se anche Apple ha deciso di eliminarlo dalle nuove tastiere sostituendolo con un Tasto Funzione...ne prendo atto e...amen.

Confermo io dicendo che il tasto aiuto della mia Apple Wireless Keyboard è altamente inutile
…o almeno, io premo e clicco ovunque ma non dà risultati…

Grazie anche a te, linkxvi. Dunque nella tua tastiera non spunta nemmeno il punto interrogativo...
Significa che non potendo toglierlo prima lo hanno disattivato...

Provato ora con tastiera dotata di tasto "aiuto" e il risultato è:
-con Safari, Mail, QickTime, Monitoraggio Attività, Text Edit, Anteprima, Utility Disco, Art Text, se si clicca su uno dei menu e si preme "aiuto", si apre l'Aiuto dell'applicazione.
-con iTunes, DVD Player, Toast, cliccando sul tasto "aiuto" si apre l'Aiuto.
-con Finder, Real Player, Mpeg Streamclip, non succede nulla.
Ho provato solo queste applicazioni ma la casistica sembra ridursi a questi 3 risultati.

Grazie, Riker, a quanto pare c'è il contrordine...
Quel tasto non è poi così inutile come pensavamo e tu Riker avevi cercato di farmelo capire...
Va bene, allora, che posso aggiungere? Naturalmente ti ringrazio tanto per il tempo che hai dedicato al mio piccolo problema.
