ichat, non riesco ad agganciare un contatto

Ciao!
Ho finalmente installato leopard sul mio Imac G5 1,6 e volevo fare una video chat con un amico che ha appena preso un Imac alluminium. Non ci riesco.
cerco di aggiungere il suo mmmm@mac, brilla ma niente. Lui invece è riuscito ad aggiungermi nella lista contatti. Il problema è che ora possiamo solo chattare ma non fare audio/video chat: insomma lui mi contatta, ci scriviamo e basta
