blocco improvviso macbook

ciao ragazzi
da un paio di giorni il mac - white 2.4 ghz 4 gb ram - si blocca improvvisamente (è successo sempre con firefox aperto), e compare una finestra che chiede di riavviare il mac tenendo premuto il tasto d'accensione per alcuni secondi.
appena riavvia appare il resoconto del risultato dell'errore;
