SoulseeX 1.0b4

http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/25911

What's new in this version:

You can now send files to someone. Select then control-click some of your shared files and choose "Upload to...".

Search tabs are reopened automatically when ssX is restarted.

There is now a "Search Again" contextual menu item.

Search results are now expanded one level so the folders are visible. Remember a quick shift-command-e will expand them further.

Fixed "Show Folder Contents" in search.

The ssX chat room is no longer auto-joined by first time users.

Added several new options to the Help menu. You can open the ssX and SoulSeek homepages and FAQs, you can also join the ssX Chat Room and the Mac Users chat room from this menu now.

Shared file information is now saved to disk much much faster.

There is a new pref you can set in the ssX preferences file (~/Library/Preferences/net.schleifer.chris.ssX.plist) to choose how your shared file count is sent to the server.
ssXSharesShowFriendsOnlyCount

The default false only counts the files shared to everybody, change it to true if you want friends only files counted as well. If this key is not in your prefs file you can add it.

There is a new pref related to how often shares are auto-updated. For normal users this can be ignored, but users who share >50,000 files or so may want to change it.
ssXSharesAutoUpdateInterval
60

Set it to 0 to never auto-update or a higher number (in minutes) if you need to. If this key is not in your prefs file you can add it.

A few tweaks and additions to the shared file interface.

Lots of bug fixes and tuning of peer connections, especially in uploads and downloads.

Much faster processing of distributed searches and a few bug fixes there as well.

Improved console performance quite a bit and fixed "last message repeated ?? times" which had been broken for months and had gone unnoticed.

Chinese text encoding support.

Lots more little things...
