anch'io non riesco ad aprire l'Aiuto Mac !!!

Ciao a tutti !
Anch’io non riesco più ad aprire ‘Aiuto mac’. Tutte le volte che aggiorno qualche software, “Aiuto Mac” non si apre più… sparisce ! Sona passata al Mac da poco e acquistato un power bobook G4 … eccezionale … ma non son propio una cima.... e senza l’aiuto mi sento un po’ persa !

funziona solo con un nuovo aggiornamento di mac ox.. ma l’ho appena fatto. Mi potete aiutare ? grazie !

fatto? bene riavvia (a volte serve) collegati ad internet e apri l'aiuto

dovrebbe funzionare ;)

La procedura letta sopra è l'unica possibile.... ne vedete conferma anche qui sotto. Si legge anche che è un problema del 10.4.3 (forse anche del 10.4.4) che non TUTTI risolvono.

Seguite la procedura, non aprite l'help, applicate il combo update scaricabile dal sito apple/download (ben + di 100 mb), riparate i permessi e vediamo....

MacFixIt reader Matt Neuberg writes:

"Since the Mac OS X 10.4.3 update, choosing Mac Help (in the Finder's Help menu) brings up a blank window. I've seen this reported elsewhere, so I know I'm not alone. Deleting caches and relevant plist files has not helped. Other applications' help files work just fine; only Mac Help is not working."

Although these workarounds weren't successful for Matt, in some instances of this problem, a corrupt cache file may be to blame; an issue easily resolved by deleting the following folder:

~/Library/Caches/com.apple.helpui
(this is the Library folder at the root level of your User [~] directory [users/username/...])

Close and re-open Help Viewer, and the proper contents should be displayed.

Failing the above solution, you may need to delete the following property list files from the ~/Library/Preferences folder.

com.apple.helpviewer.plist
com.apple.help.plist
com.apple.helpui.plist
and re-launch Help Viewer.

mentre aspettavo una tua risposta ho cancellato quelllo che avevo ed ho riavviato...ho aperto aiuto finder e al primo clic ok...già al secondo si era ripiantato...poi ho aperto safari e ho spippolato un po' sull'aiuto, sempre quello del finder..ora è ok, un po' lentino ma accettabile :) :)

Flash; anche io non ho la com.apple.helpui.plist nella preferences dell'utente; e poi la cartella caches contiene un sacco di altre carte con (credo) cache di applicazioni... si butta tutto?
... io ho già scaricato 10.4.4 ... quindi come faccio a scaricare il combo?
