Grazie Padmé, ho proprio un HD interno danneggiato che nessun sistema
operativo(Win, un paio di versioni di Linux) è riuscito a visualizzare e, di
conseguenza, offrire una possibilità per il recupero dati.
Proverò con un cavetto USB-SATA, il Mac e DISK DRILL; se il Mac riesce
a visualizzarlo, con Disk Drill vado sul sicuro.

Disk Drill 1.0.62 brings a lot of minor changes and improvements:

*new* In-app navigation: if you hid the main app, you can still use the main menu to go to Welcome, Protection or Recovery screens
*new* Disk Drill now features polished and user-friendly uninstaller (go to Preferences -> General to remove Disk Drill completely)
*improved* Recovery Vault now recognizes multiple installations of Mac OS on the same Mac computer and keeps protecting different volumes even if Disk Drill is used from different instances (or even versions) of Mac OS
*improved* We added several warnings to prevent user confusion with data recovery process, which may be not obvious at certain steps
*improved* Better detection of BootCamp and USB drives’ names
*improved* Better support of the disks used for Time Machine backups
*improved* Disk Drill reports more details about errors if any occur during recovery
*improved* Recovery Vault statistic data is now reported back to the main app to prevent collisions with Deep Scan

So, Disk Drill 1.0.66 has:

new multi-selection in scanning results
improved items filter in scanning results is now reset on every new scan to prevent user confusion with the list of found items
improved Disk Drill will now correctly reopen its window if you click the dock icon
improved some minor improvements in uninstallation process
improved several cosmetic changes in user interface
improved another bunch of crashes related to external hard drives mounting
improved finally we were able to fix the issue with correct detection of file system of the main hard drive, which could be detected as ‘not partitioned’ in some rare cases. Thanks go to many users who helped us debug this trouble.
