chiavetta usb e tv lcd philips cineos

sto cercando di capire come visualizzare un filmato .avi sul tv tramite una chiavetta usb senza doverlo masterizzare. (il tv che ho, un philips cineos ha infatti una uscita usb).

beh non è sempre detto che si possa vedere un flmato da una chiavetta anche se la tv dispone di un uscita usb; può essere per esempio solo per foto e musica e non per video.
Sarebbe utile sapere se hai letto il manuale, visto che su uno a caso preso dal sito della philips di un tlevisore cineos, in particolare del modello 32PF9531/98, ho trovato questo:

The Multimedia browser lets you display pictures or play audio files stored on a USB device.The Multimedia browser application is invoked from the main menu.
- Following file formats can be reproduced: for pictures: JPEG for audio: MP3, MP3 Pro for video: MPEG2
- Only FAT/DOS-formatted memory devices are supported. - Philips can not be held responsible if your USB device is not
supported.
quindi niente divx. dai un occhiata al manuale del tuo e vedi cosa dice.
