Vorrei segnalare una applicazione che ho testato in demo (19,95 euro) che si chiama Layers e che ha delle funzioni originalissime, se non uniche. E' un software per fare screenshot multi-layered, cioè istantanee della scrivania a multilivelli.

In pratica quando si schiaccia alt shift S viene scattata una fotografia (con alcuni secondi di ritardo) in formato psd, quello usato da Photoshop (Elements) e da alcuni altri programmi. Non in jpg, png,....
Il risultato sarà che aprendo l'immagine con Photoshop, si vedranno tutti i layers, i livelli che la compongono. Ogni elemento della scrivania avrà un suo livello: il dock, la barra dei menu (anche ogni singolo menulet in certi casi), ogni finestra di applicazione, ogni icona sulla scrivania, il cursore. Alcuni elementi indesiderati già in partenza si possono disabilitare nelle preferenze.

Ciò permetterà di ottimizzare il nostro screenshot, mettendo in evidenza alcune cose, nascondendo o cancellandone altre...
Infatti ogni elemento, ogni oggetto potrà essere ingrandito o rimpicciolito, spostato, ruotato, messo dietro o davanti agli altri (primo piano), eliminato, editato in tutti i modi (frecce, disegnini,...). Se due finestre sono sovrapposte, possiamo separarle o fare invece il contrario.

I livelli possono essere decine e decine, a seconda di quanto avete sul desktop, ma si può limitare il tutto (nelle preferenze) raggruppando gli elementi (un gruppo sono le applicazioni, un gruppo le icone,..). Quando ho usato per la prima volta questo software era configurato in questo ultimo modo e l'ho cambiato togliendo la spunta a Create groups.

Vi sono altre funzioni, come catturare tutta una pagina web e non solo la parte visibile (come Paparazzi e Snagit).
Infine una parola sull'Inspector (alt shift i): permette di esaminare gli elementi, dotarli di ombre, cornici, posizionarli,...
