Molto in sintesi Firefox 3.6 introduce la possibilità di applicare nuovi temi per modificare l'interfaccia del programma chiamate Personas (http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/gallery/?source=moz.com_homepage), integra un meccanismo di "esecuzione asincrona" del codice JavaScript così da sveltire il caricamento delle pagine e lancia in via definitiva uno strumento che mette in allerta l'utente quando dovessero essere rilevate versioni ormai superate di uno o più plugin (ad esempio Adobe Flash, Reader, Quicktime e così via).

P.S.: segnalo un piccolo trucchetto per abilitare le anteprime delle schede: digitare "about:config" e invio, (cliccare su Farò attenzione, prometto) poi scrivere sulla barra di ricerca "ctrl" e fare doppio click sulla riga "browser.ctrlTab.previews".
Aprire almeno 3 schede e provare a premere Control Tab...
A me non era abilitato di default, magari a qualcuno sì.

Aggiungo altre due impostazioni:
browser.allTabs.previews = attiva un pulsantino in alto a destra sulla barra delle schede che mostra l'elenco di tutte le schede (anche meno di tre aperte, stavolta).
browser.taskbar.previews.enable = anteprime sulla barra applicazioni di Windows 7.

Firefox 3.6.4 garantisce una navigazione al riparo da interruzioni su sistemi Windows e Linux nel caso in cui si verifichi un arresto anomalo dei plugin Adobe Flash, Apple Quicktime o Microsoft Silverlight.
L'arresto anomalo o il blocco di un plugin non coinvolgono l'intero browser. Per avviare nuovamente il plugin è sufficiente ricaricare la pagina in cui si è verificato il problema.

Hanno ritirato Firefox 16 a causa di un bug che permette di visualizzare i siti visitati.
Consigliano per ora di reinstallare Firefox 15.0.1 in attesa di una nuova versione del 16, probabilmente 16.0.1.

1) Quando si aprono più schede (i cosiddetti tabs) e si spostano, ora si vede una piccola anteprima grafica della pagina e non una semplice barretta di divisione come prima.
