Wired News reports that Microsoft's MSN site suggests websurfers using Microsoft's Internet Explorer for the Mac switch to another browser. "Fire up that dusty old copy of Explorer and -- if you haven't changed the default homepage -- you'll be greeted by a message at MSN that says: 'If you are using Internet Explorer for Mac, we recommend that you use another browser to have an optimal experience of MSN.'"

Internet Explorer non più supportato e non più scaricabile.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER FOR MAC USERS

In June 2003, the Microsoft Macintosh Business Unit announced that Internet Explorer for Mac would undergo no further development, and support would cease in 2005. In accordance with published support lifecycle policies, Microsoft will end support for Internet Explorer for Mac on December 31st, 2005, and will provide no further security or performance updates.

Additionally, as of January 31st, 2006, Internet Explorer for the Mac will no longer be available for download from Mactopia. It is recommended that Macintosh users migrate to more recent web browsing technologies such as Apple's Safari.

A me spiace, è pur sempre un browser in meno, non in più...
Mi terrò l'ultima versione nel mio Mac, più che altro per ricordo (anche se l'avrò usato si e no un paio di volte)...

Purtroppo il mondo ha bisogno di piu' browser...
al lavoro ogni volta che si finisce un progetto..bisogna testarlo su 5 browser diversi! sia per mac q per pc...quindi mi serve.. :(

Diciamo però che i test servono proprio per verificare il funzionamento su browser effettivamente utilizzati!

Non vorrei sembrare drastico, ma con l'inflazione di browsers - per tutti i gusti - ho addirittura disinstallato quella Cenerentola di Explorer. :smt039
