Non ho trovato alcuna citazione nel forum su questo freeware: Mediainfo Mac

Sono certa che è molto utile, anche se di primo acchito la sua utilità pratica può sfuggire... (del resto l'utilità dipende sempre dall'utente...)
Io l'ho usato, in collaborazione con dei tecnici di un support center online, per capire perché dei file multimediali mi davano problemi quando facevo una conversione, codifica, esportazione,...
C'è poco da dire: si apre il file multimediale e si vedono tutte le caratteristiche di video e audio (codec, bitrate, contenitore,...) dello stesso. Il rapporto si può esportare sotto forma di testo.

Ora si può usare anche il drag and drop e non solo l'apri. Se aprite la vecchia versione potete scaricare l'aggiornamento direttamente da lì e ottenere tutte le modifiche.

Mi accorgo ora che uno degli aggiornamenti è sparito.... (problema tecnico di settembre 2008 ). Era relativo alla versione 0.7.7.58 del 19 settembre. Scusate se la segnalazione porta in alto il topic. Mi sembrava di averlo già recuperato, non capisco..

Io su Leopard usavo la versione 0.7.17.3 che su Snow Leopard non si apriva proprio, rimbalzava tre o quattro volte sul dock e poi si chiudeva senza rimedio. Sapevo che lo sviluppatore aveva deciso di non continuarne lo sviluppo e quindi questa notizia mi rallegra due volte...
