ciao...ho comprato il mac da qualche settimana pero` ancora non riesco ad usare amsn bene...se accendo la mia web a casa con i miei amici funziona...pero` gia se la voglio usare con i miei stessi amici che sono connessi da un`altra connessione non funziona piu`...

mi potreste dire per favore PASSO DOPO PASSO quello che devo fare???anche perche` sono in florida e mi serve per parlare con la mia famiglia...

stai dicendo che quando sei collegato ad una connessione funziona, mentre ad un'altra no? se è cosi per quella che non funziona dovrai mappare le porte utilizzate dai servizi di videoconferenza del programma nel router e/o aprirle nel firewall, nonchè configurare un eventuale proxy server, se presente. qui tutte le info: http://www.amsn-project.net/wiki/FAQ

I'm using aMSN behind a firewall, or using IP-Masquerade. Sending files won't work, can I fix it?
In this case, the firewall may be blocking incoming connections. File transfers work this way: When you want to send someone a file, you send an invitation with your IP address and a port number. Then the remote client must connect to your IP:port to start the transfer.
The used port is usually 6891, 6892 and so on (first transfer is on port 6891,but if you start a new file transfer while the first one hasn't finished yet, then it will use 6892, and so on).
If you are using a firewall, you must make sure that it allows incoming connections to port 6891 (and next ones if you want to be able to make more than one transfer at the same time).
If you are behind a router, enable port forwarding for ports 6891 to 6900 to your PC's internal IP address.
You can change the port value from the "Connection" tab of the Preferences window.

ciao..ti sono molto grato che mi hai risposto subito...pero` io ancora non mi sono collegato con un diverso apparato...il fatto e che se io invito un mio amico di casa ad accettare la mi aweb ed e nel mio perimetro di casa cioe` usa la mia stessa connessione mi riesce a vedere altrimenti come e` capitato oggi, con il mio stesso amico lui era connesso da un router differente e non riusciva a vedere la mia web, e anche perche` sotto la mia finestra non appare proprio la mia web...

lo so che e` una rottura pero` ti sarei molto grato se mi spiegassi passo dopo passo intendo tutte le cose dove devo andare a cliccare o immettere numeri perche` a dirti la verita` e da quando che ho comprato il mac che nessuno riesce piu` a vedermi.
