Ciao a tutti ,
Qualcuno riesce a darmi delucidazioni sull'istallazione ...... mi dispiacerebbe doverla cambiare...

Grazie a tutti

Le istruzioni, in inglese...

Here's how to do it without learning how to do UNIX stuff:

Go to: http://www.linux-foundation.org/en/O...MacOSX/foo2zjs

Download the three files (foo2zjs.dmg, Foomatic-RIP, espgs-7.07.1.ppc.dmg)

Install the files with foo2zjs.dmg being last (it won't let you install it without the other files).

Add the printer using the print utility in the System Preferences. You should see the HP LaserJet 1018 driver now.

Download the firmware update here.

Make sure your printer is plugged in and plugged into your USB, unzip the firmware update file, and then double click the expanded firmware update file. You'll see the Terminal window pop-up and see that the firmware was updated for the 1018 (it will fail for the other printers).

Your printer should be working now. Of note, if you unplug your printer, you will have to reload the firmware update. For this annoyance, I'm taking my printer back to Staples and will get a Mac compatible printer.
